Good morning!

Determination vs. Distraction…….which will win?

I think often about Paul’s words indicating that there was that battle inside of him….”I do what I don’t want to do and what I do want to do, I don’t!” (my paraphrase!) He goes through quite a soul wrenching in this passage, just like I do with God. And then it culminates in him saying:

“I give all my thanks to God, for His mighty power has finally provided a way out through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!” Romans 8:25 TPT

If you have a similar battle (any honest person who still has breath in their lungs should be saying “that’s me!”), you are not alone. However, it is always going to be HIS mighty power that provides the way out.

I am still learning this. How many times I try in my own strength and fail?.....I’ve lost count!

BUT, oh but by the grace of God His mighty power provided the way out when Jesus died and rose and conquered death and all those sneaky distractions.
