“And don’t get distracted from My purpose by anyone you might meet along the way.” Luke 10:3

Jesus was telling His disciples that the harvest is huge and ripe. But there are not enough harvesters to bring them all in.

We are still in this position today….and I would argue even more so. It is especially apparent how lost and empty most of the world and it’s ways have become.

How do we harvest? One step at a time. Not everyone is asked to go out and be a missionary. But we can act within our day, with those we come in contact with, and through our continual renewing of our minds.

It is so easy to get distracted. Don’t allow for that.

There is too much work to be done. Don’t put on blinders. We don’t know when the end will be here. The time is now to act. Start by loving people, not trying to pick them apart.

Let’s put a better name and face on being a Jesus follower than most have ever seen!

Jesus did not require people to do anything to be healed or to have demons cast out of them. He didn’t require them to live better in order to receive His love. He loved. And then they started wanting to live better.

We should do the same.
