Conquerors

There was a time when I think it was easy to believe that things in life are what you see….the conflicts and situations could all be easily explained. It seems to be, the more I look around, that the spiritual battle is more apparent than ever.
Satan would love for us to believe he either doesn’t exist or isn’t much of a threat. Of course, he is a defeated foe, but he still wreaks havoc in the world and with people. Very infrequently did I hear about any of that as I grew up. However, the more I live, the more I see things for what they are.
Our minds are fertile ground for either the Holy Spirit to grow all the fruits of the spirit (love, peace, joy, etc) or for Satan to infect us with fear, anxiety and depression.
I sure do hope we wake up and see what is really going on and let the Holy Spirit do what He does best and tell Satan to get out of town. We are suckers if we ignore his evil influence. We are conquerors when we recognize the Truth and act on that Truth.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." Ephesians 6:10-11
