It is so interesting to me how people were so jazzed recognizing that Jesus was King on Palm Sunday that they shouted and waved Palm Branches.
5 days later they were yelling Crucify Him! Why? Because He wasn't the King they thought He was going to be. They wanted someone who was going to do things that earthly Kings do. But Jesus knew His mission was to be the King who saved us from ourselves, death and the evil of the world.
His way saves us for eternity. He came and sat with sinners, healed and cast out demons. He questioned and condemned the Pharisees because they were all about rules, not relationship.
Who is the King of your heart? I promise you that when Jesus is King, that is a peace that passes all understanding in this crazy world!
