living free

Galatians 5:16-18 TPT
Let me emphasize this: As you yield to the dynamic life and power of the Holy Spirit, you will abandon the cravings of your self-life. When your self-life craves the things that offend the Holy Spirit you hinder him from living free within you! And the Holy Spirit’s intense cravings hinder your self-life from dominating you! So then, the two incompatible and conflicting forces within you are your self-life of the flesh and the new creation life of the Spirit. But when you yield to the life of the Spirit, you will no longer be living under the law, but soaring above it!
Man, does the flesh ever like to keep finding new ways to humble me! Even when I feel like “ok, maybe I’m on a good track”, I find that the smugness of that quickly smacks me in the face.
Thank the Lord that we are not outside God’s love. In fact, the only way that the life and power of the Spirit can work in us is because of God’s limitless love.
I pray to have a humble heart always so that His power can flow freely through me to break down all the smugness, all the self-satisfaction and all the fleshly gunk that gets in the way!

2022-05-07 14:31:00 +0000 UTCOh my struggles are still great, but in comparison to the what is behind me they are much smaller. In the midst of struggles we see great obstacles, but I always try to keep them in proper perspective, and rely on the grace given to me. Trust that God knows our struggles and still chooses us, loves us, empowers us and uses us to prove to the world that He is not looking for perfect people, but humble and fallible people whose hearts are inclined to get back up and try again (as you always do!) That may be our greatest ministry and why so many of us adore your spirit!

Praise God for his grace, and Thank Jesus for fulfilling and perfecting the law so that my burden is light and getting lighter as I journey on. Bless you Sis!
