Studying the Word, listening to anointed teaching, and reading eloquently penned depictions of the Lord mean very little, unless you discover him for yourself. The voice of his Spirit speaks in many ways. It can be heard in the least likely places, such as movies and television shows. But hearing him isn’t enough.

In order to truly enjoy the life you’ve been designed to have, you must come close to the One who speaks. Let the voice that stirs your heart draw you to know him for yourself. You don’t have to listen from afar. You can run into the arms of your Savior right now. Encounter the One you hear about, read about, and sing about. Never be satisfied with anything less than Love himself.

Jesus, your presence satisfies my deepest yearnings. To know you and to experience your love are my eternal quest. To offer myself to you unreservedly and without question is my greatest honor. Let my life overflow with your glory. Let my love bless you in return.
