euphoria!

“For You have revealed to me the pathways to life, and seeing Your face fills me with euphoria!” Acts 2: 28
The Greek word euphrosune is where we get our word euphoria. People still attempt to chase after feelings of euphoria from many places! I think we all can agree that we each have struggled with that in different ways.
The Spirit of joy brings a pure euphoria though! There is no nasty hangover and no regrets! It is also described in the Aramaic as “sweetness” in His presence.
If you haven't experienced that kind of euphoria, you are missing out!
Sometimes people bash feelings related to God because they feel we shouldn’t rely too heavily on emotions. That may be true when it is out of balance. But to say that we shouldn’t have emotions is contrary to how God created humans! We were made to experience pure euphoria with Him!
Choose the pathways to life and seek His face!
