I love metaphors as you probably know well. They are mental pictures that make things relatable.
Iron sharpening iron is such a great metaphor for one of the best ways to navigate life. If you are around people that don’t sharpen you, find some that do.
A lot of times you have to be willing to get brutally honest and humble so that you can connect on a deeper level with really sharp people who are always going to give you the same in return.
It is so amazing to have iron sharp people around you! God surely knew we would need this and this age old proverb reminds me how much I need and appreciate my iron-rich friends haha :)
