Good morning!

I had a wonderful conversation with our daughter. She was talking about something she thought she had gotten over but it keeps resurfacing. Her boyfriend mentioned that God gave people free will. That means that sometimes we will end up in the crossfire as the result of someone else’s decision. It wasn’t that God wasn’t there or that He has forgotten you.

We always have a choice in how we respond to things and how we view things. If we realize that free will means that there will be rotten stuff happening to and around us, we don’t have to question whether God cares. Of course He cares! He gave us a way out! He gave us Jesus and His Spirit to indwell us so that we can be right with Him and make our own good choices, hopefully more often than not.

Matthew 28:20 And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
