Good morning!

ALERT: This is not my teenager! I read this quote on a quora site.

"My teenager wants only an Apple phone. We tried to explain that we can't afford it, and she stopped speaking to us. What should we do?"

How incredibly amazing this was for me to read. Can you imagine ever having the nerve to act like this as a kid? My parents certainly would never tolerate it, but more than that, to imagine being this disrespectful is beyond my comprehension.

But, it got me to thinking. God, I want ...... God, I need..... And if we don't get that want or need do we stop talking to Him? I think a lot of times that is what happens.

But just as parents train and teach a child in the way to go, God also lovingly gives us what we want and need....or not....since He most certainly knows what is best for us!

Lord, help us not to be so short-sighted that we forget that You know what is best for us! I want to keep talking to you no matter what you decide to do!
