Good morning!

It has been on my mind to write and then when I sit down to write, nothing happens.

Sometimes I think we expect there to be no dips in the creative juices that flow, no dips in motivation, no wilderness times. We so desperately want to stay on top of mountains and never descend into the valley again.

I have been in a wilderness time lately. It isn’t my favorite place to be, let me start with that. But, rather than trying to fake it, I figured maybe someone could relate.

It’s not like I stopped doing my God time or praying. It’s not like I should be in this place necessarily. Yes, my jaw seems to be bothering me more than in the past. Yes, there are some other things that are pressing down. But, I still feel sometimes like my faith and hope should be on the same 10/10 level at all times.

The truth is that it’s not. But God can handle that too!

I got a text from my friend Pastor Jim regarding this:

God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases Him. Philippians 2:13

He said “Alright God, You said this for the Philippians and you aren’t a respecter of persons so your favorite (lol) daughter needs a truckload of revitalizing passion, Lord. Hook my Sister up!!! In Jesus name Amen.”

I love how Pastor Jim talks to God in such a real way. And, his encouragement is always there no matter what.

I pray for that kind of encouragement for you too. If you are in a wilderness now or will be in the future……God will continually revitalize you!
