Enough for Today

Manna for today.
I am pretty sure I have spoken on this topic my typical 9 times, but again it has come to my mind.
Manna was the miracle mysterious food from heaven that was supplied for the Israelites daily by God while they wandered in the wilderness.
And yet they complained.
I mentioned yesterday that I have felt a wilderness mentality recently. But God daily provides just enough of what I need, reminding me that I can trust Him.
Will I ever learn? Haha. I sure hope so. I know I always am gluttonous…..wanting more than my daily bread. And yet, I am learning to be satisfied with His miraculous daily provision and to praise Him for each day and the moments He gives me.
Nehemiah 9:15
“You provided bread from heaven for them for their hunger,
You brought forth water from a rock for them for their thirst,
And You told them to enter in order to possess
The land which You swore to give them.”

2022-12-08 13:10:56 +0000 UTCWe all take the good gifts we are given for granted. We value the wrong things, the wrong people, the wrong feelings. God provides what we need when we need it, not what we want when we want it. No one values the painful experience, the hard education, the loss of the “good” being replaced by the “best” that our Father provides. He is always looking out for us. We need to learn to look for Him.
