I mentioned earlier this week that our aim is important. Common among most of us is the tendency to have worldly motives and things that drive us. But, I think the pandemic highlighted how much our security can be misplaced. The things of the world are temporary and can be ripped away in a moment.
But wisdom and a heart of understanding…..those are things that cannot be taken away but can grow even in, and perhaps even more, in challenging times.
Let’s aim for wisdom and hearts of understanding!

I agree. The pandemic, more than anything in our lifetime, has rocked the boat for many. Talk about the saying, “One day at a time”… that really took on a new meaning! But it just reminds us that God is very much in charge. He knows how the whole story of the world will end. Does it really matter if your team lost the World Series last year?
