Beautiful broad place

I wonder sometimes about how so many people could want to choose the way of Jesus, and how so many people could not want to choose the way of Jesus.
If following Jesus meant life was going to be horrible, restrictive and depressing, then I don’t think anyone would choose that. But, it’s interesting to me that to some people following the narrow path sounds too hard or maybe not worth it. Then I wonder why so many people choose it?! In actuality it is as the verse says….it is a beautiful broad place!
Maybe religion has gotten in the way of people choosing Jesus. There has been a history of hate and the way of communicating has been tainted by misguided humans. Sounds like a lot of society right now!
Regardless of what you may have experienced in the past, I wonder if you’d open your heart to the way of Love. He breaks open the true way and rescues you because He delights in YOU! Give Him another chance :)
