He Sees You
The Lord sees everything that happens with perfected vision. He is not biased, filled with wrong motives, nor is he cruel in his judgments. Because his heart is clean, he can properly interpret our every intention. How refreshing it is to know that we can trust him to weigh our thoughts, words, and actions. He is the Lord of all, who truly understands us. He deciphers our deepest meditations yet corrects with mercy and grace.
Jesus doesn’t have a glass-half-empty theology. He doesn’t sit with a gavel in hand, ready to pronounce judgment. He encourages you, believes in you, always cheers you on, and draws you close. He sees the good in everyone and invites you to do the same. Jesus believes you’ll rise in victory, even during your greatest struggle. Now he urges you to see others through this same lens of mercy.
Jesus, you know me—every thought and movement of my heart. You’re great in mercy, and your corrections always leave me feeling hopeful and full of holy resolve. Cleanse my heart, so I will see others through your eyes. When people spend time with me, I want them to feel refreshed, motivated towards righteousness, and encouraged. I want to be like you and love perfectly.
