Encounter God’s Heart...
Disgrace Rolled Away
Jesus rolls away our disgrace with the covenant of his strong love. He washes over the pain of our past with the liquid mercy of his blood. The shame of our youth is not held against us, and the power of his love sets us free to venture into what he has for us in the great expanse of his glorious kingdom.
There is now no accusing voice of condemnation against those of us who are joined in life-union with Jesus (Romans 8:1). We have been liberated from our captivity, and we are free in Christ. What a beautiful invitation we have to live, move, and have our being in fellowship with the King of Kings. He leads us into his kindness, and he guides us with his presence. What a wonderful Savior!
Jesus, thank you for the ways that you were foreshadowed in the Old Testament. I long to know you more. Thank you for setting me free in your love and for removing my shame. I am undone by your wonderful mercy in my life.

Joshua 5:9
The Passion Translation
Then Yahweh said to Joshua, “Today, I have rolled away your disgrace from being slaves in Egypt.” For that reason, the place is named Gilgal to this day.
