Good morning,

The way the Lord works is something I continue to be astounded by. Our daughter has been sharing these ways with me too. Almost daily she tells me of some way that God worked in her life.

One such day was perhaps something others would find to be just normal life. However, we know that God does so much in and through us as we continue to look to Him.

She tends to be extremely diligent in school. She can work without a break for 6 hours, hunched over her homework with honey-badger focus. Over the past so many months, she has been trying to learn to take breaks, take care of herself by stretching, eating and taking pauses, knowing that ultimately it will be better for her and more balanced.

She had been in the library at school for about 90 minutes when her Wi-Fi on her computer went down. Her hotspot on her phone wouldn’t work because her phone had no service. She looked around the room and no one else was having issues with their computers. She started to get ruffled but then thought, “wait, maybe this is time for a break.” So, she went and ate lunch, relaxed and came back and the WiFi was back to working and on she went.

The fact that she recognized in that moment what was needed, rather than getting more flustered and wasting time, she was able to relax and trust that it would work out and that she could learn to be guided by God into what would be best for her. What a blessing!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
