Alone with Jesus
Our relationship with the Lord should take precedence. Prayer must be more than a religious duty. As people who understand our need for Jesus, our alone time with him is a necessity we cling to. We recognize that when we’re in tune with him, we become the best version of ourselves.
In the quiet of his presence, peace drowns out confusion. As we meditate on his Word, we’re flooded with wisdom and revelation. When we acknowledge the stirring in our spirits to pray for someone or something, our intercession changes things. With songs of worship, we pour out love and encounter his. Each day, let’s do whatever it takes to seek the Lord’s face. Let’s lavish him with our devotion and wait for his fire to fall upon our hearts.
Jesus, when busyness feels like it’s cluttering my life, give me grace to stop and find your presence. My desire is to stay close to you at all times and set time aside to be alone with you. I need you, and I’ll do whatever is necessary to adjust my life and keep time with you a priority.
