Faithful

My conversations with Pastor Jim are always so inspiring. His focus has been on God’s faithfulness. We are so caught up in our faithfulness all the time that sometimes we get stuck! It is hard to be faithful when not leaning into HIS perfect faithfulness. It is so reassuring to know that He cannot be any different than who He is and who He has always been. He cannot deny His character. He makes no mistakes. He can only be loving and faithful. What that means to me is that no matter what comes I can trust Him and I don’t have to understand everything.
As Jim said, if Jesus is faithful to go to the cross for me, I can trust He is faithful in all the needs I have (my paraphrase).
if we are faithless, he remains faithful—
for he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:13
