This special podcast is a little different than our normal ones. It's much more casual and has a lot of insider (no pun intended) talk.
We're looking forward to hearing what you think! This is DEFINITELY an experiment, normally we keep our inner workings pretty close to our belt. But with you all supporting us, we figured now is a good time to break it open and show you.
And because this is the first episode we wanted to make it public to everyone; future episodes will be supporters only (and on that note, we're going to make it available to all tiers of supporters, we'll tweak the benefits listing shortly).

2015-08-05 23:39:22 +0000 UTC@Alex, have you guys checked out Flowdock as an alternative to Slack? My company used to use Campfire and moved to Flowdock, and it's great. Flexible, convenient, has integration to lots of other tools, and it looks like it's only $3/mo/user, which is cheaper than Slack. Being the shepard does bring some new perspectives. I'm still not very good with delegation though. Something I need to work on. Was interesting to hear about the shift setup. It does make sense given the nature of your job and coverage, I just hadn't thought much about how you were doing it. :) Thanks for the insights and keep up the good work. :)
