Behind the Scenes at Blizzard Watch - Podcasting

Greetings, Patrons! You're getting something a little different for the Behind the Scenes show this week. Alex and Anne spend a late, late night talking about podcasting, all the while testing a new recording format to see what the audio quality is like. And because this was recorded after midnight, the conversation wanders to other topics as well. It's testing, behind-the-scenes, and incredibly tired late night conversations all in one. You can listen to the episode over on Soundcloud!

Comments

A comment on podcast quality. One can clearly hear the editing here. The quality is better than the Skype-style, and Anne sounds good, but Alex has some kind of fuzz behind him that is really jarring after it cuts from Anne's voice...it really is "immersion breaking", as Alex might've said at some point. Keep up the good work!

I watch every single leveling stream and legion group steam (and about half of the diablo steams) in their entirety, though I rarely have the luxury of doing that in one sitting. I would be fine, however, with them being only 45mins to an hour long -- they'd be just as fun, I think. I used to wish the podcast went longer, but with the addition of Lore Watch and the various leveling streams, I'm happy for the more frequent, smaller chunks of content. Instead of (a desired) 2 hours once a week, I now get up to 4 things each week which vary from 1-3 hours at a time. I personally think a discrete donation button on the twitch page would be fine for those who want to give a single amount instead of committing to a patreon, or for those who just wander by. Keep up the great work and I wish I could bump up to $10/mo. Maybe someday.
