Ad-free list updated

Hey $5+ Patrons,

We've received some emails about supporters not knowing how to activate ad free. We've updated our patron list just to make sure we didn't miss anybody, so every qualifying patron should be up-to-date.

To activate this benefit, enter the email address you use on Patreon to the appropriate field here: http://blizzardwatch.com/supporter-benefits/

(Ignore the mention of January 2016. You'll be good to go.)

You'll need to activate this on a per-device basis and your browser must be accepting cookies for this to work. If you run into trouble, feel free to email us, but check any browser settings or plugins you may use first. Anything that blocks scripts or cookies will prevent ad-free from functioning. Also, it won't stick if you're using a browser on Incognito mode or equivalent.

Just tried this today, not working at all. Any update on when this might be fixed?

I've now sent 2 emails to backers@blizzardwatch.com regarding the problems reported here. Both have gone unanswered. I understand that Blizzard Watch is run by a small group of people, not a multinational corporation with a large customer service staff; but I'm reconsidering my contributions at this point.

Would love to get my ad-free to work again. I've tried in Edge, Chrome and Firefox and it doesn't work in any of them

Does not work for me (and it used to). If it helps, I am using Safari. Also does not work in Chrome. However, Disqus is no longer trying to redirect me off the site!

Jacqui Tulley

Not working for me. I put in my email address and get an error message saying the email address wasn't found. I log into patreon with facebook, I don't know if that has any effect.

Petey VanSchaik

It's not working for me. I entered my email address (copied from the "To" address of the email I received), pressed Submit, and was redirected to the homepage, where I was promptly shown ads. I tried several times.

Billy Jo

I don't believe there's a limit.

Blizzard Watch

Is there a limit to the number of devices we can authorize, or can I go ahead and flag on everything?

Barry K.
