Patrons, these are your new benefits and our new goals

Starting today we've revamped our benefits, goals, and changed so much with the business we're calling it Blizzard Watch 2.0. You can find out about it all at 9pm CST this evening on this post  (it won't be live until then).

One of the big things we're doing is launching forums at blizzardwatch.com/forums  and a Discord chat at blizzardwatch.com/discord . We'll also be doing daily, unique, Patreon-only content for those at the $5/mo level and up.

But before all this goes live to the public, we wanted to give you the details of what the new benefits and goals look like. Here they are:

• Your support is awesome!
• You'll get access to a special patron-only section on our forums and chat room
• A preview of what the team is working on for the coming week/month
• Access to our monthly Behind the Scenes for a look at how we do the work we do.
• Early access to the weekly Blizzard Watch podcast (with extra content) and twice-monthly Lore Watch podcasts.
• A roundup of our best content every weekday, so you can easily keep up with what’s happening on the site and elsewhere.

$5/month

• Everything in the previous tier
• Ads-Free code for the site. The code is welcome2blizzardwatch2 for everyone.
• Access to a full-text RSS feed
• Access to unique, patron-only content, including:
  • editorials
  • tips and tricks
  • how-tos
  • ....and more

$10/month

• Everything in the previous tier
• Submit your questions for the Queue, the Blizzard Watch podcast, Behind the Scenes podcast, and the Lore Watch podcast.
  
  If we can answer them we'll answer them either on Patreon, on the podcast, or in the Queue. Where do you ask them? On a special post in the forums or in Discord.

$25/month

• Everything in the previous tier
• Anne or Matt will write your character bio
• Access to a chat room to hang out with our writers and editors during BlizzCon.
• Access to a nightly Q&A during BlizzCon. Everyone has a ton of questions during this time, and our team has the best answers.

Our Goals for the site look like this:

$9,000/mo -- Full Operation

• You'll see more daily and timely content on the site and on Patreon. We'll keep our unique blend of news, editorials, and features coming fast and furiously.

$12,000/mo -- We Go Video

• We'll contract with streamers to provide you with the best Blizzard Twitch content out there.
• We'll also build out our YouTube channel with stream excerpts, quick tips and tricks, and new stuff from the PTR.

$15,000/mo -- Whhaaaa?

• Wow, that's a lot of support every month!
• We have some crazy ideas, like creating a daily news video, employing some artists to create amazing things for everyone, and making even more content on our site. We’ll talk about what we have in mind when we get here!
