Watching Blizzard: Hey! It's still Tuesday!

Usually I write today’s roundup so late that it’s technically tomorrow, but today is apparently the miraculous day when I’m getting this done early. Probably because it’s a slow news day. Which probably means we’ll have a landslide of news tomorrow. (Hopefully good news.)

But instead of trying to predict the future (which I’m pretty bad at), let’s look at what happened today.

It’s nerf o’clock (maybe)

The Shudderwock in Hearthstone’s Witchwood expansion may be headed for a nerf. This crazy card repeats every Battlecry you’ve played in the game, which can result in some wild turns… that sometimes run down the turn timer just with card animations.
And Shudderwock isn’t the only card getting changes. Chameleos and Voodoo Doll have both been hit by hotfixes to address some buggy behavior.

Anne is at it again

Yep, it’s time for another tour of the Battle for Azeroth alpha. Today we visit Deadwood Cove and Redrock Mesa.

Frankly, there have been so many dev interviews lately that it’s just hard to keep up. Fortunately Rachelle sorted through everything to bring you (and me) the highlights.

The global cooldown will apply to more abilities in Battle for Azeroth

Rossi takes a look at the revised GCD and how it plays out in game. (And he illustrates it with a picture of a super adorable Gnome. I totally approve.)
And while they aren’t recent, it’s worth reading Ion Hazzikostas’ reasoning behind the GCD changes.
