Watching Blizzard: Happy Monday!
Added 2018-04-23 23:08:13 +0000 UTCI've been told that wishing someone a happy Monday is grounds to contact the HR department, but fortunately we don't have an HR department. So hopefully you're all having a happy Monday, because I'm wishing you one regardless.
So what's happened today? A surprisingly small amount. But let's go over it all the same.
We're skipping the Overwatch League roundup this week, but...
- Anna was out over the weekend so there was no time to put together an OWL roundup. But the news doesn't stop just because we're busy, so here's a quick look at the week's Overwatch drama. Which is mostly Dallas Fuel drama.
- Last week they ditched South Korean player Rascal, and his south Korean teammate Effect wasn't particularly happy about it. This week, Effect is back in South Korea with no hint about when he'll return.
- And Taimou was in the ER this weekend for for "extreme stress."
- Dallas will be hitting the stage with who knows what kind of lineup this Wednesday at 8 p.m. Pacific.
In better (maybe?) Overwatch news
- The Horizon Lunar Colony map has gotten a rework on the PTR, but it won't go live with the next patch.

- Hopefully you do, because dang are these Overwatch Figmas awesome. You can pre-order Reaper now.
- And don't forget Tracer, Genji, and Widowmaker, too.
Looking back on Legion
- We're at the end of Legion's story, and Anne considers some of the loose ends we're left with.

- Just not from your own Blizzard Balance, which means turning your gold to balance to gifts won't work.
Another one bites the dust
- We're still mourning the loss of Ben Brode, but now we've learned Hearthstone Executive Producer Hamilton Chu has also left the company. Could be be joining Ben at his new gaming startup?
- Did I mention I miss Ben Brode? I miss Ben Brode.
