Watching Blizzard: How is it only Tuesday?
Added 2018-05-02 03:56:47 +0000 UTCIt's been a roller coaster of a week and somehow it's only Tuesday. I don't know how that happened, but I assume it's because time is mysterious and inexplicable. There's no way to understand how or why it is Tuesday, so we may as well give up.
Instead of trying to understand the passage of time (which is clearly impossible), let's get on to the news.
There's a good reason these datamined Hearthstone cards aren't in the game
- From cards used for QA to crazy concepts the developers want to try out, these cards are the very definition of unbalanced.
Wickerpunk is my new favorite word and soon it will be yours too
- Rossi invented it, but I think it should immediately jump into common parlance because it's great. And it also perfectly describes the Kul Tiran Druid travel form.
- It's so wickerpunk.
Overwatch's Retribution is ending, but...
- The Rialto map will be joining the regular rotation this Thursday with a new patch. That means we're finally getting that rework to Hanzo that Jeff has been talking about for ages.
Dark Nexus skins arrive in Heroes of the Storm
- Do you like Dark Nexuses? Nexaii? I don't know. but I do know that there are new skins and they're pretty dang cool.
South Korea is serous about Overwatch hacking
- And I mean serious. We're talking $10,000 fine serious.
It's hotfix day, apparently
- Nerfs to Cain (depending on how you look at it) and a handful of bug fixes landed in Heroes of the Storm today.
- A mountain... well... a small mountain... of PVP class changes hit WoW this afternoon.
