Watching Blizzard: But is that really where the fun is?

Another day has come and gone (way gone at this point), which means it’s time for another roundup. Don’t you love roundups? I love roundups. So let’s get to the roundup part of this roundup because that’s where the fun is.
Buy a pink Mercy skin (or t-shirt) for charity
- Blizzard has a history of raising cash for charities with in-game items, and now the idea has come to Overwatch with a pink Mercy skin that includes unique sound effects. All of the $15 price tag goes to the Breast Cancer Research.
- Not interested in a skin? There are also pink Mercy tees for men and women, with art by Vickisigh.
Hearthstone’s Shudderwock finally gets a fix
- Blizzard announced this ages ago, but only just rolled out a patch to actually implement fixes to this monster of a card. Hopefully it will be slightly less monstrous moving forward.
- And speaking of Hearthstone changes, we have an announcement of an announcement of more balance changes in the future. Look for more balance changes after the HCT playoffs are over. Details are (hopefully) forthcoming.
John Haight drops some interesting details about Battle for Azeroth
- Like the Alliance’s motivations and Allied Races. It’s an interesting interview that hits a lot of topics, so go check it out yourself.
- And, yes, we’re still kind of sour over High Elves.
And that seems to be pretty much it for today. We’ll be back tomorrow, when Noblegarden arrives in Hearthstone and — I’m just guessing here — probably a bunch of other stuff while Anne, Mitch, and Rossi are busy podcasting. That’s how it usually goes, anyway.
Until next time, this is Liz, signing out.
