Watching Blizzard: Farewell weekend, hello weekday

Alas, the weekend is gone again. But that does mean we’re back here, talking about video games, which is basically my favorite thing to do. And since you’re here, it must be your favorite thing, too, right? And if it isn’t, there’s an adorable pug in the header of this post, so at least we’ve all got that going for us as we head through the workweek.

So let’s get to the gaming news, shall we?

Diablo Season 14 is nearly here

If you haven’t finished your season 13 goals, you’d better get to it, because the season ends on June 3.
… and that means a new season is starting shortly after. Season 14 will kick off on June 15, so be prepared.

The beta content keeps coming

With the changes to Boralus Harbor and Tradewinds Market, Anne has collected the changes in a new gallery.
And don’t forget the Horde’s missing water, also currently on the beta. (But likely to be bug-fixed soon.)

Not only do you have awesome new pets coming in the expansion, you have some sweet new combat ready animations.

Overewatch’s anniversary event kicks off tomorrow with every previous event and skin ever, plus a brand new deathmatch map.
The crazy wrestling event of Nexomania arrives in Heroes of the Storm tomorrow, too, with a bunch of thematically appropriate — read, crazy wrestling-themed — skins and a Chihuahua mount. Because when you think wrestling, you think Chihuahua, right? Right.
And sorry, Hearthstone fans, but the nerfs arrive tomorrow. This should bring some interesting changes to competitive decks.
In WoW, it’s Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking, which is my favorite Timewalking. So get out there and do it!
