Watching Blizzard: What happened to Monday?

Apparently it is Tuesday and I'm not really sure how that happened. If you tune in regularly, you've probably noticed a time-related theme to these roundups because my relationship with time is tenuous at best. The passage of time is mysterious and complicated and I'm pretty sure that I will never understand it.

But since I managed to skip a day, let's jump straight to the news.

Before the Storm is due out next week!

• The novel leading us into Battle for Azeroth is nearly here, and we have a brand new excerpt for you to enjoy. If you haven't pre-ordered it yet, you can snag a digital or physical copy from Amazon.
• Looking for some lead-in story that doesn't require spending? A new Battle for Azeroth comic has finally united the Windrunner sisters. 

WoW's Mage Tower challenge will be leaving with Battle for Azeroth

• And when it goes, your challenge artifact appearance will go with it. We have a guide to help you snag your appearance before it's gone for good.
• But of course, shortly after we posted this, we found out that Blizzard intends to leave the challenge active all the time — it's currently only available when the Mage Tower is up on the Broken Shore — so we all have more opportunities to snag it before the pre-patch.

Overwatch's Symmetra rework is live on the PTR

• Symmetra 2.0... or is it 3.0 now?... can throw turrets across the battlefield and make portals so teammates can jump from place to place. You can check out the changes on the PTR right now.

I can't wait to meet the expansion's newest battle pet

• I can't phrase this any better than Anne did: fancy Francois doesn’t give a cluck about you unless you’ve got 1 million gold. Who wouldn't want to meet this fancy floofball? (Even if he does have some expensive taste.)

The beta is gorgeous and we can't help but share our snapshots

• This week (so far) we've covered Halls of Strength, Ritual, and Terrace of Crafters as well as the Zocalo in Dazar'alor,

Diablo 3 is getting seasonal themes

• It doesn't exactly revolutionize Diablo gameplay, but these new seasonal themes will spice up seasonal play... at least a bit. It looks like we may be heading into a seven deadly sins theme, starting with greed.
