Watching Blizzard: So, did anything happen today?

No, anything didn't happen. Everything happened, because Battle for Azeroth alpha testing has begun. Let's take a look at what we know.

The alpha is here!

• The alpha is live. Okay, folks, that's it, let's pack it up for today.
• Well, maybe not. But there's a lot of info flying around and everyone's still sorting through it, so expect more in the coming days.
• The test currently includes the Drustvar (Alliance) and Nazmir (Horde) zones as well as the Atal’Dazar and Freehold dungeons. If you weren’t lucky enough to get an invite of your own, we previewed the two dungeons at BlizzCon
• Towelliee, Wowhead, and plenty of others have been streaming alpha content, so hit up your favorite streamer if you want a first-hand look.

The datamining continues

• We now have a list of classes for the Zandalari and Dark Iron... and hints at a couple of possible future Allied Races. (Spoiler: One of them is the Vulpera.)
• Planning to roll a Dark Iron Dwarf? Here's a rundown of their racials and customization options.

Still playing live?

• Well, you should be — at least if you're trying to grind out any Legion reputations. This week's World Quest bonus event makes it the perfect week to farm rep and unlock those Allied Races.

And in Overwatch...

• Overwatch League is back, kicking off the week with the Shanghai Dragons taking another loss — albeit a close one — to the Dallas Fuel.
• And we mentioned this yesterday, but the ill-fated Dragons are rumored to be picking up Geguri. Anna has some thoughts.
• Lunar New Year kicks off Thursday in Overwatch — which is tomorrow! Or today, depending on when you read this.

Coming soon to Hearthstone

• The brand new Wildfest event kicks off on February 19 with Wild Brawls and a new Wild Arena mode. And don't worry if your collection of Wild cards isn't exactly top notch: one of the two Brawls uses pre-constructed decks, so anyone can join in on the fun.
