Watching Blizzard: Busy weekend incoming!
Added 2018-06-22 23:46:36 +0000 UTCThere wasn't much in the way of news today, but there is a lot going on in our favorite games this weekend (by which I mean Warcraft, obviously). So let's talk the news and then take a look at our weekend to-do list.
We're ready for new Diablo lore
- As Diablo fans know, it's been a while since we've had any new Diablo content, so all we can do is speculate. So speculate we will! Rossi talks about the lore possibilities of Diablo 4.
More PVP changes? More PVP changes!
- Honestly, PVP confuses the heck out of me, but I need to start understanding this stuff because I am definitely getting the hippo mount reward that's coming with Battle for Azeroth. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming ranking and reward changes.
What else is happening? I'm glad you asked!
- Free to play WoW? What?? That's right, it's a free to play weekend in World of Warcraft, so badger your friends into joining you for a few days of gaming. Wowhead has a guide on how to get started that you can throw at anyone you think ought to pick up the game.
- It's Cataclysm Timewalking in WoW this week, and so I'm remembering how completely annoying Cataclysm's dungeons were — and you can too! Don't forget to pick up the quest outside Violet Hold to get extra loot if you run five dungeons.
- The Midsummer Fire Festival kicks off this weekend, too. It's same old, same old for anyone who's done it before, but it's a good way to level those alts. Don't forget to melt an ice stone or two while you can!
