Watching Blizzard: Discombobulated

Is it the end of the week? The beginning of the week? With a holiday landing right in the center of the work-week, I've spent all day typing away and trying to decide.
I'm still not sure.
So instead of confusing myself further, let's take a look at today's (somewhat skimpy) holiday week news.
Surprise! It's a Heroes of the Storm nerf
- Heroes has a habit of pushing content and then nerfing it to "balance" a couple of weeks later, and that's true of the new Alterac Pass map, too — though this was a much-needed nerf, since the team who secured the first objective would just steamroll their way to victory.
- Yrel, who joined the Nexus with Alterac Pass, also received a recent adjustment, though it was more of a buff than a nerf. That really is a surprise.
The Mythic+ system in Battle for Azeroth is the same, but not the same
- While Blizzard is keeping the Mythic+ concept, it's making a lot of little tweaks to the system. We'll be getting seasonal affixes, we won't be able to swap gear, and, now we know that we may be getting better rewards, too. I'm looking forward to seeing the new Mythic+ system in action.
Do you have an extra $175 handy?
We aren't going to stop making "like a wrecking ball" jokes about Hammond
- Really, Blizzard has just made it too easy. And the little guy really does cut through enemies like a wrecking ball. Anna has compiled some of Hammond's best moves, from incredible flanking moves he can manage with his Grappling Hook to the simply ridiculous way he can swing and spin off basically everything.
And that's all for today my friends. Until next time, this is Liz signing out.
