Watching Blizzard: We’re all about Overwatch League (again)

If you've been reading these silly things for long, you know how much I like to wax poetic about my favorite underdog Overwatch League team, the Shanghai Dragons. Since the regular season — and the Dragons' matches — came to a close, I haven't had much to say about OWL. But the grand finals just kicked off and all I can say is... what a game. The first match between Fusion and London was a nail-biter that was absolutely great to watch. (If you're an Overwatch fan of any level, you'll want to watch it yourself.) So that's the first match of the Grand Finals down... and we can look forward to the next one Saturday at 4 p.m. eastern, so soon we'll see who the best team in the League really is.

WoW leveling has gotten slower... again

The introduction of level scaling slowed down the leveling process, and patch 8.0.1 has slowed it down again. Unfortunately, the developers aren't really sure why and so they haven't fixed it yet. Still, a fix is in the works... as soon as they figure it out.

And just one more bit of news for you Blizzard Watch watchers. We have three new writers who will be joining us over the next week, as well as two streamers. We had a lot of amazing applicants, so please don't feel bad if you applied and weren't picked — it was a really tough decision (and we'll be revisiting the applications when we next decide we need more writers). So look for new voices on the site soon. Are you excited? I'm pretty excited.
