2018-02-07 23:15:29 +0000 UTCMiyamoto's involvement in the 3d mario movie is likely to be the accuracy of the rendering of the 3d models. I say that because I remember a comment by him when ubisoft demo'd a mario game (rabbids) to them, he was surprised at the quality of the models, asking where they got them from. So all in all, i think its quality control, not story involvement.
