Don't feel guilty for it. That's what she's trying to accomplish. There's nothing wrong with having a hobby. Ask her why she spends time doing anything other than working or hanging out with you.

I'm in office 5 days a week, and even if I get up early on a Saturday morning with headphones, she will still resent me later that day because we didn't lie in and watch tv and have breakfast in bed. I now play less and if I do I feel guilty for it.

Your comment about Flower got me thinking and so I thought I'd ask: is there any one game, or maybe a small handful even, that literally brought you to tears or affected you in a more profound way than simply enjoying the ride? Playing Brother: A Tale Of Two Sons while my older brother watched was one for me. We spent a good deal of time mulling over the puzzles and talking about our childhood which made that experience really special.

About the work/life balance, I'm not at that stage of my life yet (I'm still a student), but I'm super glad my dad was able to work from home my whole life and I think it really improved the happiness of the whole family. (Also, will there be some special treatment for episode 100? We're getting close!)
