The discussion on innovation was fun. To me innovation is related to failing. Companies all try to innovate. Some innovation succeeded and the others fails As time moves on there is less and less companies so the risk/reward becomes very low as there is no more competition anyways. Also, you discussed it with forsa, the return in innovation is so costly and marginal at best... I think the next big innovation could be with chatGPT when games will create meaningful quest, environnement etc. even games? I can see a time where AI could create great stories with voice acting even and it wont BS randomized fetch quest anymore....
