And Alex and Fern donβt talk about it really. It came up a few times but Alex was always very tight-lipped. Felt like heβs not allowed to talk about it.

They had fewer hands to pick from, but a lot shorter time, like five seconds, since the essence of the idiom is you should know it remarkably well. IIRC the βmythβ was Confirmed.
