And so the first clash of the Holy Grail War comes to a conclusion! I remember watching it for the first time and being so shocked that 6/7 servants were basically present at a conflict literally night 1. Generally death game plots, and incidentally, Fate/Stay Night, take things slower and build up various individual conflicts before throwing everyone in a room together so to speak. In my experience anyway (Outside of something like the Hunger Games, but the people in the first rush for the cornucopia arenโt really expanded upon right away. We get really strong characterization here in this first clash). Looking forward to the rest, and seeing who you come to like! Rider is typically a fast favorite for most people, and I personally donโt like Saber as much in Fate/Zero as I do in Fate/Stay Night. They had two different authors (who worked together) and of course, a prequel presumes you read the original, so they just donโt flesh Saber out in the same way. The two authors also have different takes on the character. I like both, and they are similar, but I prefer F/SNs Saber.
