Mistress Amber, Ch. 01 (And some thoughts!)

THIS IS NOT TOMORROW'S RELEASE!

This is also public, because it's already out.

Basically, I'm changing the name of Sephalla (much as I love her, and was happy to reuse her at the time) to Thynelleph. And I'm going to now update all my places where this story is, so that when the chapter tomorrow comes out, this other hot af nightmare girl will not be a point of potential confusion!

I will also use this post to discuss, briefly, a potential issue of slurs/language usage that comes up with reference to "futanaris".

Futanaris, in my stories, are not transwomen. I will absolutely, and happily, write transwomen, but futanaris are not them. They are magical creatures that do not exist, and while some people have remarked to me that they do not want "futanaris with vaginas", to me, that is kind of their point. But this is solely a personal preference.

Futanari, as I use the word, is not a slur. It is not a fetishisation of transwomen. It is unfortunate that some people use this word in that way, but ultimately I am writing a particular kind of smut, and just as people who write interracial smut, or cuck smut, or whatever hundred other types may be produced, I realise that I am treading on things that may potentially offend or upset. This is inevitable, but it is not my problem. Please do not read my things if you are likely to be offended! I, the human, am not the filthy stories I write. They are purely for entertainment purposes. The end.

But, regarding a potential further slur: in the upcoming second chapter of Mistress Amber, and potentially in other fantasy stories I write, there is this word: shemale. I realise this, too, is a slur, and perhaps closer to a real one (given that this term refers to a woman with a penis alone, and no vagina.)

In the fantasy stories I write, there exist four biological sexes: male, female, futanari, and shemale. Males and shemales are "masculine", while females and futanaris are "feminine". This is in rough, clumsy terms. I like the idea, it appeals to me, it allows a kind of symmetry.

Shemales in my fantasy stories are also not transwomen. When I write transwomen, I will not use slurs, I will use "tgirl" or "transwoman" or something of that sort, if such is even necessary - woman is fine, except where fetishisation is the point, and yes, I understand that this is often the point (I find it is, sadly, unavoidable!).

This has not been spurred for anything beyond a personal empathy for the plight of transwomen (and trans people generally), and a desire to make myself clear on certain topics. I am not going to be deterred, I will write as I choose, but I have made my beliefs and morals known.

Big love,

Thalaxian
