A Farewell to Patreon

Hey everyone!

This post is going to be rather different from the ones in the past, and personally I wish that I could have announced it sooner to avoid annoying anybody. At this moment, you will all find that I paused the billing process on my Patreon page and will be delisting the page a few weeks from now, keeping it up just so people can see this post.

It’s not really bad news, though! It’s just that yesterday I found out that I got into a job position that I was applying for. However, the new job would require me to disclose any side job/earning to the company, as well as putting me into a taxation bracket and stuff. So long story short, no more Patreon will just be easier for me to handle. At least for now.

What does this mean for the game?

Not that much honestly, I might have to delay an update here or there as I adjust to my new time table but as previously stated this is a hobby for me now. I enjoy working on the game and will continue to do so. I can’t judge yet how much a new job will impact my free time to work on Domination Mansion, but I expect that I can still keep up the 2-month rhythm.

Polls!

With the step away from Patreon, I still want to get you guy's opinions and wishes along the development of the game. So I will continue the polls just as we had them before, but now they will be open to everyone on the game's discord!

Oh, and with the next release, I will be removing the password required to access the cheats in the game. Rather, just making it available to everyone that wishes to utilize them. Careful not to break your game 😛

Releases!

I quite like the current 2 release schedule that we kinda developed so I will keep this going from now on! So while all releases will be free to the public, the first few will be marked as early access. I will try to then release a stable version 2 weeks after the initial release of each update!

I want to thank everyone who supported me up to this point! The support was very welcomed during my student time and I appreciate you all so much for it! I never thought my game would reach so many people. Thank you all once again for everything and keep an eye out for update 0.2.7 that will be coming out later next month!
