Javali (VR Avatar)

space chickne :)

Chirp? Chirp.

The Avali are a race of small, raptor-like fluffy aliens from a frozen moon named Avalon. How come there are no Avali models that actually look like raptors, then? Introducing: the Javali, my own personal take on the Avali species. With a sleek and lean body, forward facing eyes, sharp teeth, and four sensitive ears, these are agile predators with a deceptively cute appearance. Boop with caution, you might lose a finger to that toothy grin!

This model includes....

!!!This model does not come with Dynamic Bones, you will have to download it separately if you plan to us it for Chillout VR!!!

You do NOT need to download dynamic bones if you're planning on using VRchat. Physbones (VRchat's version of dynamic bones) is included in their SDK!

Thank you to RyujinZERO for creating the Avali species, and @DragonSkyRunner for the digi leg tutorial

PLEASE NOTE that this avatar is NOT quest compatible!

Changelog:

1.5.4

  1. Renamed "Toe curl type" to "Toe physics mode" to clarify what it does

  2. Toe curl is now set to anim mode by default. Using the toggle now sets it to physbones mode

  3. Fixed the sleep toggle not working

  4. Fixed the snarl radial not working

  5. Fixed the ear puppet not working

  6. Fixed a slight twitch in the ears when using right hand gestures

  7. Fixed hands not animating during expression animations

  8. Fixed eyes shifting backwards on the chubby blendshape

  9. Fixed ear jittering while using gesture expressions with the ear twitch system on at the same time

  10. Ear twitch system is now on by default

  11. Reorganized blendshapes on planti version to match the order on the digi version.

  12. Moved head changes on femme blendshape to their own blendshape aptly called "femme headshape". If you want to use the femme headshape, make sure to use this blendshape as well as the normal "femme" shape.

  13. Changed the femme headshape slightly so it looks and animates better

  14. Changed rotation constraints in digi legs to VRC rotation constraints

  15. Added new expression for thumbs up on both hands. This should fix the eyes having 2 blink effects layered over them

There was lots of stuff left not working from the last couple of updates. hopefully this covers most of the big stuff!

1.5.3

  1. Fixed hand gestures not working for non-Index controllers.

If you've modified your FX controller and want to apply the fix, delete your old left and right hand layers and use a tool like Avatar 3.0 Manager to merge your controllers together. Or, add the vrc proxy animations to your empty gesture states if you know how to do so.

1.5.2

  1. Reorganized the Unity project file a little bit

  2. Renamed "mint" textures folder to "Body"

  3. Renamed "receivers (depreciated)" contact receiver to "Foot receivers" as they aren't really depreciated anymore

  4. Tweaked toe physbones to not flop around as much when sticking your feet upwards

  5. Added a new physbones object ("Feet") that separates the physbones for the toes to their own object

  6. Added toggle that controls toe interactions so changing the system doesn't require fiddling in Unity. Physics mode is on by default; toggle "on" to switch to animation mode.
