Want your Valentines by Valentine’s Day?

Hello again, Blackbirds! 

In past years, one of my regrets is that because Valentine‘s Day happens relatively early in the month, I am rarely able to get my postcards out in time for them to be used as actual Valentine’s gifts! This year, even if I get the February delivery out as quickly as I reasonably can, it will be no earlier than Monday the 6th — just 8 days before Valentine’s Day. And that’s at best! Some lucky continental-US folks might get their cards in time for the holiday, but many are unlikely to.

This year, I’m going to try out a funky little maneuver to give people the opportunity to fix that. 

On January 24th, I will be running a Valentine’s Day Minisale in my shop, which will include a limited number of prints — some various romantic favorites, as well as both “O Darling, Run Me Through” and “Lay With Me ♥️ Tenderly“. 

I will also be including a Patron-Only listing that will be titled “Patron-Only Early Valentine Delivery”. This listing will be for $5, there will only be 50 slots listed, and it will only stay listed either until selling out or until 10 AM EST on the morning of the 25th. If you purchase this listing for “Patron-Only Early Valentines Delivery” for $5, your February delivery will be shipped early, on January 25th, nearly a full 3 weeks ahead of Valentine’s Day. 

This is a bit of a risky experiment, because by purchasing it, you are promising that you will remain a member of the MBPS until your February payment is processed a week later, and I have to accept that promise on faith. I won’t bore with details, but it also creates a fair amount of extra admin work on my end. Both of these reasons are why I am limiting this opportunity to 50 members. 

1. To participate, you must be a Crow Collector or Raven Dandy at the time of purchase, and you must remain in your tier until your February Patreon payment is processed. 

2. You must include your Patreon name in the comments of your purchase. If you don’t, you risk delayed shipping at best and having your order cancelled at worst. 

3. If your February Delivery does not arrive on February 14th or earlier, contact me on Etsy and I will refund the purchase of the ”Patron-Only Early Valentine Delivery”. 

4. If you are an international patron and your delivery often takes 3 weeks or longer to arrive, please exercise best judgement before purchasing, and do not purchase if you consider it unlikely to reach you in less than 3 weeks. I can take this delivery to the post office as promptly as possible but I cannot affect what happens to it after that.
