Update

Without getting into details, there was a likely medical emergency for an out-of-state family member and I was expecting to head out the door before morning. Well, next day rolled around, that got stretched to "Sometime soon. Maybe. Just be ready to go any time." And so the ambiguous situation and nature of things was left hanging over my head all week like a dark cloud. And then it was like that dark cloud kept sending off lightning bolts as one misfortune after another racked up... among them the AC going out. So as you might expect not an ideal situation for writing porn, eh?
Anyway. The AC is still broken but will hopefully be fixed today. And while the medical situation is still up in the air so that whole thing isn't actually resolved, the sense of "be ready to walk out the door any time" seems to have been dropped. So I'm going to try to get back to writing and hopefully there'll be an incremental this Saturday and the public release the Saturday after. I'll let you know if anything changes on that front.
