Two Small Announcements

First off, the note I'm sure everyone cares about, public release is on Monday. I know I typically do it on the Saturday closest to the first, but I decided to put it on the actual first this time to get a little more work done on it. This'll be a fairly large update so I think it'll be worth the extra time to get it all.

Second is something new that will be popping up this release in Devious Mundanity: Epilogues. Yeah, I decided to finally institute a method for doing some after-the-ending information. I don't expect to make a lot of use of it, and don't wait on a bunch of the old endings in Devious World getting these, but I wanted to do it for at least this one ending and I'll explain why.

Some of the endings that will come with this update are pretty emotional... it always feels a little silly saying this since ultimately these are still porn games, but I put a lot of heart and feeling into them. And with that came one that felt that while it had reached the perfect conclusion, it needed a little more.

Normally when I write an ending, what you see is what you get... either the further events beyond it are best left to the imagination, or it's just plain wrapped-up. Sometimes, in a few of the more serious ones, in some ways it feels best for the characters to have their privacy, if that makes sense. This one just... I dunno, I guess it felt like since I made the character wait so long in-universe for their happy ending, and put them and the others around them through so much, they deserved an explanation of how happy their ending was. It didn't fit in the narrative nicely and neatly, so I tacked it on as a separate sidebar. Now the story flows well but you know how things went for them after the curtain falls.

I guess it just seems like as much as I have and am going to put these characters through, they deserve at least one timeline where everything worked out well for them. Sentimental as fuck, I know, but there it is.
