Announcement

Heyhey all, here's that announcement that I said I'd probably do today. Just briefly gonna cover a few things.

First of all, I wanted to apologize for something... specifically about not making it easier to get to the Discord. Apparently a lot of people were under the impression that access to it was a patron benefit. The truth is, I just plain didn't realize I should make the link to it more accessible. You may have noticed that in general I'm a little more casual about my approach to wording things and how I approach stuff than other content creators can be... basically I like to talk to you guys as if we were just all people hanging out together rather than me being The Creator and you being The Customers. Buuuut that also means I'm generally not 'on' and thinking of marketing myself 'properly' and whatnot with things like dropping big hints about stuff like joining the discord.

Short version: Discord open for everybody. Skooma is a derp. Discord link will now be in the sidebar of games moving forward.

Since we do have a lot of new arrivals, I want to take a moment to remind everyone of the most important rule: be respectful of the other people on the server. This means not making comments, even casual ones, about subjects that would be likely to start arguments or controversy. Do not assume everyone there has the same beliefs you do. I don't mind if you discuss just about anything (though I will beg you to stay away from the hot button current events), but only if you're going to do it in a calm way that isn't baiting anyone. That is the most important rule and I honestly appreciate everyone who follows it.

Now, on to other issues.

Specifically, like you've no doubt seen lately from many other creators, I have set up a subscribestar. This is actually something that people have been nudging me to do for awhile now, but a Skooma at rest tends to stay at rest and the reasons for it never seemed all that pressing, or could be shrugged off as isolated or exaggerated. More recent developments have been much more glaring, and corroborated by multiple sources, including at least one creator I am passingly acquainted with personally.

I'm not going to get into a long thing about it, especially since getting into a big long thing about it would probably exponentially increase the chances of it becoming a problem much faster. Let's just say there are Reasons, which you yourself are probably either already familiar with or can find out easily with a bit of poking.

So for now, I will continue to update both, and we'll leave it at that.
