Poll: Wildcards Dread Captain - How are we pacing?

I know that the first book didn't have the in-game stuff until Chapter 18, which was Character Creation. I received a lot of feedback from people saying that they really enjoyed the out of game stuff, so I decided to really focus on building out that world. I want to tell stories about the Paragons and work on the world building as I do it.
I wanted to know if you feel like I've stayed too long out of the game, or if you're okay with how the storyline is progressing?

I like the pacing myself. Though, yes, I would like to get back to the game soon, I'm also interested in what's going on. There's a nice build-up, and it feels like it SHOULD be there, rather then something that's wasting time.

2022-07-17 04:41:03 +0000 UTCI love the story, I'm just not a fan of the long periods of time between chapters. Releasing a bunch of chapters in the same post once a month is the equivalent of only releasing one chapter a month in my opinion. I returned as a patron when I started seeing chapters being released regularly again, but after catching up I'm not a fan of the release frequency.
