Progress on new Combat System - 6

Throwable environment objects.
Throwable objects such as (spears, knives, rocks, empty bottes) are now added to new Combat System and they will be available when we release the major update New Combat System update. This will bring a degree of complexity and randomness to battle scenes. And of course adds another strategic layer to your fighting style. We had ranged strikes on our plans and were trying to figure out how to implement them. Since the combat system has 2D movement in it, we had the chance to add extra mechanics and this is one of them.


Throws will just require stamina
Enviromental objects will randomly enter the arena at the start of a fight, and during the fight. And type of object that is going to spawn will be determined by which arena the fight is taking place. For example a bottle has a higher chance to spawn on a fight that is inside the tavern. You will see spears and rocks mostly in the gladiator arena. Surely they bring random advantages to both characters but Morte has given me a good idea that is Destor's fame and charisma will make the crowd throw more weapons at his side, and if he lacks such attributes, the crowd would support the other side. Of course this will make the attributes more important. In the following days I'm planning to add consumable enviromental objects such as potions.
