Bloodywood - Tadka (Patreon Early Access Trailer)
Added 2025-01-29 14:18:03 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Sorry it's been a while but the amount of hurdles we had to overcome to make this recent video is crazy even by our standards. Thank you for having our backs despite the radio silence!
We decided to work with a team of filmmakers for the Tadka video and 2 weeks before the day of the shoot, after months of positive updates and being on the same page they presented us with a budget which was double the money we had left.
We started by asking them why they were telling us now, why did we not get any hint that it was going over budget let alone double till 2 weeks before the shoot.
No part of the conversation that followed is worth repeating. We had to try to pull off an evasive manoeuvre that'd be worthy of a fighter jet to get it done on time.
And a few audacious phone calls later it had arrived, the producer of MasterChef India loved the song and was discussing it with the team and asking them to let us shoot the video at the official MasterChef kitchen. He also threw the possibility of celebrity judges featuring in the videos as cast members. It was too good to be true and that's exactly what it turned out to be because he stopped returning our calls a few days later.
These were the two highlights of a series of unfortunate events and in the end we were stuck with limited options, but somehow based on our endless discussions and plans for the video, these options gave us an idea.
We gave it everything we had and even though we still can't say for certain how it turned out the way it did, we know for sure that we had a hilarious and great time watching it when it was done.
We hope you all enjoy it and as always you're going to see it first!
More soon, the rest of the year is going to be filled with a lot more wild stories and we'll share ALL of them with you!
