The four of us fanned out moving further east as silently and as quickly as possible. Breena spotted the Split-jaw before anyone else, it was feeding on a deer. I intended to strike closer but the boss must have stepped on a twig and immediately alerted the beast. Quick as a flash it turned and clawed him with enough force to send him flying through a tree.
Then it turned it's attention to Breena, at this point any prospect of an ambush is completely out the window. We have to lure it out in the open, fighting it here where it can climb trees will put us in more danger. The Split-jaw furiously chased Breena but she's too quick, when the beast was about to reach her, she sliced a dimesional rift through the air and disappeared within.
The beast was not intelligent enough to notice that it was led to a wide clearing.
This is no longer a hunt, it is an extermination.
