The first release of my game is finally ready and I can't wait to see what you think.
A couple of small things before you start:
- There is an option in the Preferences called Bonus Camera. It lets you choose the perspective of some of the frames during the game. It doesn't change the narrative perspective, or the scenes themselves, just the camera angle. There are just a few times this is used in the current version, but if you like the idea I can deploy it more often.
- There are sound effects in the game. If you don't like them, you can simply lower down the volume for Music and Sound from the Preferences.
- Most of the choices from the current version will have a lasting effects in the future. But for now the plot is rather straightforward, so you don't need to stress out, just enjoy the scenes.

As much as love GGGB, that kind of branching is horrendous to implement in one game. The dynamics of a cheating relationship can be explored over several games vice one. Keep it up, stoper!

Found you thru GGGB, which I didn't think would have a peer, but it looks like you're well on your way! You rendering and production quality is the best 3D work I've seen on a VN! Usually, I don't find 3D models very alluring and personally stick to hand-drawn like in GGGB. But your commitment to your art and story has made me decide to support you. But since it's the end of August, I will wait till 1 September to put my pledge in. Again. kudos on your stupendous work!

Hopefully the next update will inspire the influx of new Patrons your work so clearly deserves. Tip: smaller but more frequent updates will get a tad more exposure and thus opportunities for this to happen. I hope/expect to be among your additional supporters when my current commitments here end: budgetary constraints sadly restrict what I can do in that regard. Greatly looking forward to the update later this month - good luck with it!

Otherwise what kind of cheating and NTR would it be, if she dumps him at day 4... What I'm saying is that he's not stupid, if she fools around too much, he's bound to find out sooner or later. And he's not going to be OK with it. Unless I decide to do some hotwife thing, and I had few ideas there, but it all depends on how fast I can produce content.

I was assuming the cheating route was going to be something like what blammo described where the cheating was the point of it. I guess i overlooked that bit of info about fixing or trashing the relationship. I'd love to request something like this in the game, but it sounds like it would screw with the story too much and/or be too impractical to implement. A bit of *personal* let down, but i respect that. And it remains a very interesting game nonetheless for sure.

But at some point she'll have to admit it's not working. Or maybe Conner will find out and I'm pretty sure he won't be happy about it :) I want to give people as much choice as I can, I love games like Good Girl Gone Bad and Girl Life, where you have tons of options. But the way my game is structured every small deviation requires dozens of new renders. I have to impose myself some limits, or I'll end up with either very short updates, or big delays between each new version.

Of the two hypothetical paths one could be something along the lines of a romantic and kinky swinger couple, while the other would be a regular 'happy couple' for Jess and the BF, while she cheats on side and gets some extra excitement from doing so when she's in a loving relationship. The scenes and feel would be completely different.

From the overview post: "Jessica lives with the 26 years old, Conner Barton, who had just came back home after a long deployment with the military. They've grown a little distant during his absence and it's up to the player to rekindle their relationship or throw it in the dumpster." Will it be possible to middle ground between those options and have a path where Jess cheats a lot after realizing she loves to, uh, slut it up all across town, basically, while simultaneously maintaining a good relationship with the bf (uh... previously mentioned slutting it up behind his back notwithstanding) that progresses well throughout the game? Having her cake and eating it to i guess. Because that kind of story would be pretty much peeerrfect imo. I've played a lot of this type of game and sadly almost none have the option to do something quite like that. Anyway, thanks for reading! And making the game!

Or is it more like some of these secondary branches are incompatible with each other? I.e, the conditions for this scene make activating that scene impossible for narrative reasons or practical reasons, etc etc? I ask because there's a game called Good Girl Gone Wild that is really (really!) great, but it gets a bit crazy with the branching within branching to the point where you can't have the MC experience everything you'd like her to in just one play through. The result is having to maintain multiple files of a generally similar character making mostly the same choices in order to get all the scenes and events. It starts to feel a bit restrictive. But of course that's just imo, and though if i could offer some feedback it would be to avoid that kind of thing as much as possible, i still recognize the reasons and benefits and probably even sometimes necessity of doing it that way. I guess i just prefer to when only one 'character' gets to have as much of the experience as possible. :X

2018-07-22 22:15:25 +0000 UTCYes, two main paths - cheating and romantic (with a kinky aspect to it). But within those paths you have choices over the events that will occur. For example, you can have a more tame romantic path, where Jessica and Conner try something in public, and role-playing, and some light BDSM at home. Or you can have it more wild, finding other women for a 3 some, get into swinging and so on. Basically you get to choose the events you see. And of course, skipping one event may lead to another, and the events you have will shape the couple's overall preferences. BTW, if you miss on the small event with Yves that doesn't mean you're locked out of relationship with her, there will be other opportunities to bond with her. Naturally, if you miss too much of those, Jessica's relationship with her will not advance.

I imagine at least 2 'general' routes between naughty unfaithful fiancee and faithful but variously kinky couple? I'm curious though if in that case there will there be more branching within those routes. I can't tell for sure ofc, but it almost seemed like that would be the case given that if you wanted that teasing scene with Mr. Parker, you couldn't also get the scene where you start forming a better relationship with Yves. (as far as i could tell anyway.) Though obviously i don't know the details behind all that. Just made me wonder.

2018-07-22 08:35:07 +0000 UTCIt can happen with such mesh lights. Make sure they are not to big and always put them to the side, never behind the camera. I use all kinds of lights. There's just no universal solutions, each scene needs something different.

But it still takes me more than an hour to reach 12000 for pretty much all my scenes. I was just rendering several shower images and each took me 3 hours.

2018-07-21 13:19:14 +0000 UTCFrom the Render Settings tab -> Progressive Rendering -> change Render Quality Enable to OFF and increase Max Samples and Max Time. That way the rendering process will go until it reaches either the max samples or the max time you've chosen. In my experience, more than 15000 is unnecessary, if you still have much grain by this point, you should try to change the light setup. p.s. If you don't see the Render Settings tab, you can call it from Window -> Panes (Tabs).

Her relationship with boyfriend feels quite natural and he's good looking man with nice personality (which all in all more than rare in similar games), but what i'm looking forward to is those juicy lesbian encounters. Love all females you have here so far. Especially Rosa. Possibility of seducing milf who has husband and two children by younger girl is very hot for me. Though Yves, Heather and that cutie at cafe are great too. Oh, and the idea with different camera angles is very nice. I enjoyed it.

I think that your strategy for the release of new versions of the game every two months is very good, because many developers, though trying to make releases on a monthly basis, but the content there is extremely small and the plot to trample on the spot. I especially like that she seems capable, intelligent and that she will to at least some extent have initiative and control over many of the situations she gets into (or at least, that option is present). And so far, besides just being off to a great start quality wise, this looks right in my wheelhouse as far as mature content games go. The basic scenario of a female protag cheating and showing off and seducing even though she has a good relationship simply because she gets a thrill from the naughtiness of it (as opposed to blackmail or a unfulfilling relationship or whatever) is pretty much exactly what i'm into these games for. Really excited for more
